SECTION 8 MANAGEMENT

The Horizon Section 8 Tenant Management Module has been packaged with accounting capabilities. Users now have the ability to create individual landlord and tenant checks as well as a batch for the beginning of the month check run. The Section 8 Accounting Preparation provides the user with a Rent Change Review, which allows the user to monitor all changes throughout the month including new admissions, move-outs, and contract rent changes. In addition, an edit list is available to view the entire check run.

The Section 8 module also features Rent Reasonableness. Users can enter new units and compare information such as location, rent, bedroom size, square footage, and year constructed. In addition, amenities, services, and facilities are customizable.

Reporting options are vast within the Section 8 module. Users can track all occupancy dates, hard to house tenants, monthly tenant rent, vacancies, and contract rent changes. In addition, a tenant profile is available. This powerful report allows the user to track specific information related to tenants including sex, age, race, ethnicity, relationship to head, and income levels.
