
INSPECTIONS
The Horizon Inspection Module incorporates the HUD DCD2.3
dictionary complete with rooms, inspectible items,
deficiencies, and levels of deficiency. In addition, the
module offers a “Unit” dictionary that is more applicable to
Section 8 inspections. This dictionary has been developed
and maintained by multiple Housing Authority inspectors.
The Inspection module interfaces with Section 8 and Public
Housing to provide the user with an Inspection due Report.
This report allows the user to identify units that are due
for annual inspections. Once inspections are scheduled, the
user can generate a Scheduled Inspection Report. The report
can be reviewed by inspectors and management to prepare for
the upcoming weeks.
Horizon offers a handheld unit that interfaces with the
Inspection module. Users complete inspections on site and
then download all information back at the office. All
information is readily accessible and accurate. The
Inspection module interfaces with Section 8 to create HQS
50058s and Public Housing to create work orders for failed
inspection.
